What is Algonomy?
Algonomy is an AI-powered personalisation and customer data platform for retail and grocery, offering product recommendations, customer segmentation, and real-time decisioning. It applies machine learning models trained on retail-specific data patterns, including basket analysis, seasonal demand, and loyalty programme behaviour, to generate product and content recommendations. Algonomy is used by large-format retailers and grocers who operate catalogue sizes and traffic volumes where rule-based personalisation is insufficient.
How it works
Algonomy exposes recommendation and segment data through APIs that a frontend layer consumes to render personalised product carousels, search results, and content slots. On the Agentic Frontend Management Platform, Algonomy recommendation payloads integrate into composable recommendation components managed through the Personalization interface. The B2C Growth Kit provides the campaign scaffolding in which Algonomy-driven recommendations are surfaced to specific audience cohorts, allowing marketing teams to set campaign objectives while the algorithm handles item selection.
Algonomy with Laioutr
Algonomy is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will connect to the Personalization module and to B2C Growth Kit campaign logic, enabling retail teams to deploy AI-driven product recommendations within Laioutr-managed storefronts without building custom API integrations.
