What is consentmanager?

consentmanager is a consent management platform used by publishers, e-commerce operators, and enterprise teams to manage cookie consent and data privacy compliance across websites and apps. It supports IAB TCF framework integration, A/B testing of consent banners, geo-targeted consent rules, and detailed consent analytics. Teams use it to satisfy GDPR and ePrivacy Directive requirements without custom-built consent infrastructure.

How it works

consentmanager is planned for the Laioutr App Store. The integration connects consentmanager's consent decision signals to the Laioutr rendering layer, ensuring that script activation, analytics initialisation, and third-party tag loading within Laioutr frontend components respond directly to consentmanager's stored user decisions. WCAG Ready frontend setups require that consent interfaces meet accessibility standards.

Once available, the Composable Digital Experience Platform can operate with consentmanager as its consent authority, removing the need to duplicate consent enforcement logic in both the CMS layer and the frontend. Consent state managed in consentmanager determines component behaviour in Laioutr without custom middleware between the two systems.
