What is d.velop?

d.velop is a document management and enterprise content management platform in the DMS category. It is used by organizations in regulated industries to capture, classify, archive, and retrieve business documents in compliance with records retention requirements and audit obligations.

How it works

d.velop provides capture workflows that ingest documents from email, scanner, and ERP systems, classifying them into a structured archive. Retrieval is available through a web client and APIs, enabling integration with ERP and CRM systems. Audit trails and retention policies are configurable per document type and organizational unit.

d.velop with Laioutr

d.velop is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will allow teams to surface archived documents and compliance assets through Laioutr's Composable Digital Experience Platform, for example presenting product certificates or contract documents on customer-facing pages without duplicating file storage. The Content Management layer in Laioutr can reference d.velop-held documents directly, keeping archival and publication workflows separated while sharing a single source of record.
