Docusign

What is Docusign?

Docusign is an electronic signature and agreement management platform in the DMS category. It enables organizations to send, sign, and manage legally binding documents digitally, reducing the time and friction associated with paper-based or manual signature workflows across sales contracts, HR documents, and compliance agreements.

How it works

Docusign provides a document preparation workflow where senders upload templates or documents, define signer roles and field positions, and dispatch signing requests via email or embedded link. Signers complete their signature in a browser or mobile application. Completed agreements are stored in Docusign's cloud with a certificate of completion, and webhook events notify connected systems when documents are signed.

Docusign with Laioutr

Docusign is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will let teams embed Docusign signing flows directly in Laioutr-managed frontend experiences, for example within customer onboarding pages or partner agreement sections built on the Composable Digital Experience Platform. The Content Management layer in Laioutr can track document status alongside other content operations, giving teams a unified view of where customers are in agreement and onboarding workflows.
