Elastic

What is Elastic?

Elastic is a search and observability platform in the search and recommendations category. Built around the Elasticsearch engine, it provides scalable full-text search, vector search, and analytics capabilities used by engineering teams to power site search, product discovery, log analysis, and security monitoring at high data volumes.

How it works

Elastic indexes data from connected sources into distributed Elasticsearch clusters, where queries are executed against inverted indexes and vector embeddings for semantic search. The Elastic stack includes Kibana for visualization and alerting, Logstash and Beats for data ingestion, and a managed cloud offering via Elastic Cloud. Teams configure relevance tuning, field boosting, and synonym libraries to shape search quality.

Elastic with Laioutr

Elastic is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will allow teams to power search and discovery experiences built on Laioutr's Agentic Frontend Management Platform with Elasticsearch's scalable indexing and relevance model. Teams using the B2C Growth Kit and Personalization features in Laioutr can connect Elastic's search API to frontend search components, enabling product discovery, content search, and faceted navigation backed by a search engine that scales with catalog size and query volume.
