What is Emporix?

Emporix is a cloud-native, API-first commerce backend categorised under ecommerce backends. It offers a modular set of commerce services including product, pricing, cart, order, and inventory management, designed for teams that want to separate commerce logic from presentation and integrate both into a composable architecture without coupling to a monolithic platform.

How it works

Emporix exposes its commerce capabilities through REST and GraphQL APIs. Frontend teams consume these APIs to retrieve product data, process carts, and manage checkout flows. The service-based structure means individual commerce modules can be updated or swapped independently, reducing the blast radius of any single change in a production environment.

Emporix with Laioutr

Emporix is planned for the Laioutr App Store. The Headless Frontend for Emporix connector will allow teams to wire Emporix commerce data directly into Laioutr's Composable Headless Frontend without custom integration code. Once available, the combined setup delivers the full Composable Digital Experience Platform capability stack, from visual page building through to live commerce data, in a single coherent delivery pipeline.
