What is Fact Finder?

Fact Finder is an enterprise search, recommendation, and merchandising platform categorised under search and recommendations. It provides on-site product search, category page navigation, and recommendation modules used by large ecommerce operations across the DACH region and wider Europe. The platform combines relevance-based search with manual merchandising controls in a single toolset.

How it works

Fact Finder ingests product catalogue data and builds search indexes that power keyword, filter, and semantic search queries from the frontend. Merchandising rules allow category managers to pin, boost, or suppress specific products. Recommendation widgets are generated from behavioural data and exposed via API for frontend consumption.

Fact Finder with Laioutr

Fact Finder is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Teams building on the Agentic Frontend Management Platform can use the Fact Finder integration to serve search results and recommendation carousels within Laioutr-managed page layouts without custom API wiring. Once available, Personalization data from Laioutr and Fact Finder recommendation logic can be combined to power contextual product placements aligned to the B2C Growth Kit conversion goals.
