What is Fair&Smart?

Fair&Smart is a consent and data rights management platform designed for GDPR compliance. It provides a consent management interface, a preference centre for end users, and APIs for synchronising consent decisions across the technology stack. The platform focuses on user-facing transparency, giving visitors documented control over their data.

How it works

Fair&Smart is planned for the Laioutr App Store as an integration that brings consent state into the Composable Digital Experience Platform. The preference centre can be embedded as a component within Laioutr's frontend, using the same design system as the rest of the site. Once available, consent updates made by users in the preference centre propagate immediately to the frontend logic that controls personalisation and analytics loading.

WCAG Ready standards apply to the consent and preference UI just as they apply to any other page component. Fair&Smart's embeddable preference centre, when composed through Laioutr's component layer, inherits the accessibility validation that runs across the Composable Digital Experience Platform, reducing the need for separate audits of the consent UI in isolation.
