FileCloud

What is FileCloud?

FileCloud is an enterprise file sharing and content collaboration platform that can be deployed on-premises or in a private cloud. It provides file sync, versioned storage, user access controls, and a web-based interface for document collaboration, targeting organisations that require data residency control and cannot rely on public cloud file services.

How it works

FileCloud is planned for the Laioutr App Store as an integration connecting its storage layer to the Content Management capability. Assets stored in FileCloud, including product images, marketing materials, and documentation, can be referenced directly by the Composable Digital Experience Platform without migrating files to a separate DAM. Once available, teams can maintain their existing FileCloud governance rules while publishing assets through Laioutr's delivery pipeline.

FileCloud with Laioutr

The Content Management capability on the Composable Digital Experience Platform handles the mapping between FileCloud asset references and the rendered page components. For organisations that run EU-hosted infrastructure, FileCloud's private deployment model aligns with the data residency requirements that are native to the Composable Digital Experience Platform, keeping both content storage and delivery within controlled boundaries.
