What is GoTrust?

GoTrust is a consent management and privacy compliance platform that provides cookie consent banners, consent records, and data subject request handling. It generates consent logs that are legally admissible as evidence of user consent under GDPR and ePrivacy requirements, and offers APIs for synchronising consent state across the technology stack.

How it works

GoTrust is planned for the Laioutr App Store as an integration connecting consent state to the Composable Digital Experience Platform. The consent banner is embedded as a Laioutr component, inheriting the site's design system and accessibility configuration. Once available, consent decisions recorded in GoTrust propagate to the frontend layer in real time, controlling which analytics scripts, personalisation logic, and third-party embeds are active for each visitor.

WCAG Ready compliance covers the consent UI in the same way it covers any other interactive component on the page. When GoTrust's banner is composed through Laioutr's component layer, it is subject to the same accessibility validation pipeline, ensuring that the consent experience meets the same standards as the rest of the Composable Digital Experience Platform without a separate audit track for the consent UI.
