What is ImageKit?

ImageKit is a real-time image and video optimization and delivery platform in the performance and CDN category. It delivers media assets at reduced file sizes with on-the-fly transformation capabilities.

How it works

ImageKit sits in front of an existing storage bucket or media library. URL-based parameters control resizing, format conversion, and quality. Transformed files are served from edge nodes with cache invalidation support for updated originals.

ImageKit with Laioutr

ImageKit is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will optimize media served through the Composable Headless Frontend in Laioutr, reducing image payload and directly improving Performance and Core Web Vitals scores. Teams can reference ImageKit transformation URLs in Laioutr component configurations without rebuilding image delivery pipelines.
