What is Kentico?

Kentico is a .NET-based digital experience platform that provides an integrated CMS, e-commerce, and online marketing toolset. It is available in two product lines: Kentico Xperience for traditional coupled deployments and Kontent.ai for headless content management. Kentico Xperience targets teams that need a tightly integrated stack including content management, marketing automation, and commerce within a single platform.

How it works

Kentico is planned for the Laioutr App Store. The integration will enable teams running Kentico Xperience as a backend system to connect it to the Composable Visual Page Builder and the Content Management capabilities of the Composable Digital Experience Platform. Once available, content structured in Kentico can be consumed by Laioutr's composable frontend layer, allowing teams to adopt a decoupled delivery architecture without abandoning their Kentico content operations.

Organisations using Kentico Xperience for its combined content and marketing capabilities but seeking greater frontend flexibility are the main audience. The ability to connect Kentico's content APIs to a composable frontend means marketing teams retain their familiar authoring environment while development teams gain independent control over the delivery layer. Teams with multi-site or multi-market requirements can use the Content Management connector to feed Kentico-managed content into Laioutr's frontend composition.
