What is Meilisearch?

How it works

Meilisearch runs as a self-hosted or cloud instance, accepting JSON documents via REST API. Search rules, ranking weights, and facet filters are configured per index, giving frontend teams precise control over result ordering. When paired with the Agentic Frontend Management Platform, search results can feed personalization layers and segment-aware content slots without additional middleware.

Meilisearch with Laioutr

Meilisearch is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, teams using the B2C Growth Kit will be able to connect Meilisearch indexes directly to frontend components, enabling fast, relevance-tuned search without backend rewrites.
