What is Miros?
Miros is a visual search and recommendation engine designed for fashion and lifestyle retail. It analyses product imagery to generate similarity-based recommendations, allowing shoppers to find items by visual attributes rather than text queries. This approach covers a gap in text-search coverage for products where colour, texture, and shape drive purchase intent, feeding directly into Personalization logic.
How it works
Miros processes product catalogue images, builds a visual embedding index, and serves recommendations via API calls from the frontend. Results can be embedded in product detail pages, category pages, or search-no-results fallback views. On the Agentic Frontend Management Platform, the recommendation API response maps to reusable frontend components, keeping the display layer decoupled from the recommendation logic.
Miros with Laioutr
Miros is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, retailers using the B2C Growth Kit will be able to activate Miros visual search and drop its recommendation output into existing page component slots without custom integration code.
