What is MyType?

MyType is a personality-based user profiling and segmentation tool that classifies visitors according to psychographic dimensions. It produces audience segments that can drive Personalization beyond demographic and behavioural signals. Retailers and publishers use it to surface content and product recommendations aligned with user values and preferences rather than only purchase history.

How it works

MyType derives profiles from on-site interaction patterns and, where available, explicit preference inputs. The resulting segments are available as API outputs that frontend personalisation layers can consume. On the Agentic Frontend Management Platform, MyType segment labels can map to component content variants, enabling psychographic-driven experiences without requiring custom segmentation logic in the frontend codebase.

MyType with Laioutr

MyType is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, teams running the B2C Growth Kit will be able to activate MyType profiling and assign personality-based segments to personalisation slots directly from the platform's component configuration.
