What is NetDocuments?

NetDocuments is a cloud-based document and email management platform built for legal, compliance, and professional services organisations. It provides secure storage, version control, and matter-based organisation for high-value documents. In digital experience contexts, it functions as a back-end content repository that can feed structured documents into public-facing pages through Content Management integrations.

How it works

NetDocuments exposes documents via APIs that external systems can query based on permissions and metadata filters. This allows the Composable Digital Experience Platform to surface document content in structured page components, such as resource libraries, knowledge bases, or regulatory disclosure sections, without duplicating storage or version history. Access controls defined in NetDocuments carry through to the frontend delivery layer.

NetDocuments with Laioutr

NetDocuments is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, professional services and legal teams will be able to connect their NetDocuments repository to the platform and publish approved documents to web-facing pages without manual export steps.
