What is Newgen Software?

Newgen Software is a digital transformation platform covering business process management, content services, and low-code application development. Its content services component provides document capture, classification, and lifecycle management for enterprise workflows. In frontend contexts, it acts as a Content Management backend that structures and governs documents before they are surfaced on digital channels.

How it works

Newgen's content services layer exposes documents and workflow states via APIs that frontend platforms can consume to render resource pages, form submissions, or document-driven experiences. The Composable Digital Experience Platform can pull approved content from Newgen and present it within structured page components, maintaining governance rules set in Newgen without duplicating them in the frontend layer.

Newgen Software with Laioutr

Newgen Software is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, enterprise teams will be able to route content from Newgen's content services into the platform's page builder, enabling governed document experiences on the web without custom middleware.
