What is NovaDB?

NovaDB is a database and data management platform designed for commerce and enterprise operations that require structured product, order, and customer data at scale. It serves as a middleware layer that normalises data from multiple source systems before exposing it to frontend and downstream applications. Teams running Multi-Brand and Multi-Market architectures use it to keep data models consistent across business units.

How it works

NovaDB ingests data from ERP, OMS, and PIM systems and exposes a unified data model via APIs. The Composable Digital Experience Platform queries these APIs to populate product listings, pricing tables, and content slots with data that reflects the current state of all connected backends. This removes per-brand custom sync jobs and keeps the frontend layer decoupled from individual source system schemas.

NovaDB with Laioutr

NovaDB is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, teams using the B2B Growth Kit will be able to connect NovaDB as a data middleware layer and route normalised commerce data directly into frontend component data bindings without custom transformation code.
