What is Objective?

Objective is a document and records management platform used primarily by government and regulated industry organisations. It provides structured workflows for document creation, review, and approved publication. In digital experience contexts, it acts as a governed Content Management source for public-facing content that must pass formal approval processes before appearing on websites.

How it works

Objective exposes approved content through APIs that frontend systems can query to populate web pages without bypassing governance controls. The Composable Digital Experience Platform can retrieve records from Objective and render them in page components, maintaining the document lifecycle and access permissions defined in Objective. This is relevant for organisations that publish regulatory, legal, or policy content under strict change-management rules.

Objective with Laioutr

Objective is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, government and regulated industry teams will be able to connect Objective's records repository to the platform and route governed documents to public web pages through the standard component and publishing workflow.
