What is OpenText?

OpenText is an enterprise information management platform that covers content services, document management, and business process automation at large-scale organisational deployments. Its content services layer manages the lifecycle of contracts, records, and regulated documents. In digital experience architectures, it serves as a governed Content Management backend for organisations that require audit trails and retention policies on all published content.

How it works

OpenText exposes content through APIs and integration frameworks that frontend systems can use to retrieve approved documents and records. The Composable Digital Experience Platform can query OpenText to populate page components such as policy libraries, regulatory disclosures, or document download sections, without breaking the governance chain. Access controls and version states defined in OpenText carry through to the frontend rendering layer.

OpenText with Laioutr

OpenText is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, enterprise and regulated industry teams will be able to connect OpenText as a content source within the platform and publish governed documents to web experiences through the standard component workflow.
