Oracle

What is Oracle?

Oracle provides a broad portfolio of enterprise software including ERP, CX, and commerce platforms. In the context of composable frontend architectures, Oracle's relevant services include Oracle Commerce, Oracle CX, and Oracle ERP Cloud, which serve as backend systems of record for product data, order management, and customer profiles. Teams running Multi-Brand and Multi-Market setups often have Oracle systems as their primary data source.

How it works

Oracle backends expose data through REST and GraphQL APIs that the Composable Digital Experience Platform can consume to populate storefronts, account portals, and B2B ordering interfaces. Product catalogue data, pricing rules, and customer account states pulled from Oracle ERP or Commerce form the data layer for frontend components. This decoupling means the frontend can be updated or replatformed without changing the Oracle backend.

Oracle with Laioutr

Oracle is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, teams using the B2B Growth Kit will be able to configure Oracle API connections within the platform and bind Oracle commerce and ERP data directly to frontend components without custom middleware or synchronisation scripts.
