What is Orisha Commerce?

Orisha Commerce is a unified commerce platform that covers point-of-sale, order management, and e-commerce for retail and omnichannel operations. It is particularly used in French and European retail contexts to manage in-store and online commerce from a single backend. Teams building composable frontends on top of Orisha use the Composable Headless Frontend model to deliver web experiences independent of the backend transaction layer.

How it works

Orisha Commerce exposes product, inventory, and order data through APIs that frontend layers can consume to power product listings, cart functionality, and account management. The Composable Digital Experience Platform queries these APIs to bind commerce data to page components, keeping the presentation layer separate from order processing logic. This also enables A/B testing and personalisation on the frontend without touching the commerce backend.

Orisha Commerce with Laioutr

Orisha Commerce is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, retailers using the B2C Growth Kit will be able to connect Orisha's commerce APIs to the platform and build frontend experiences on top of Orisha's unified commerce data without custom backend connectors.
