What is Quintype?

Quintype is a cloud-native CMS and digital publishing platform built for media organisations, news publishers, and content-heavy brands that require high-volume article management, structured metadata, and fast content delivery at scale. It provides tools for editorial workflow, subscriptions, and audience engagement alongside its content management layer. Quintype is planned for the Laioutr App Store as a CMS integration for publishing-focused teams.

How it works

Quintype organises content through a structured story format with defined fields for headlines, summaries, authors, tags, and media, supported by a workflow engine that routes stories through editorial stages from draft to publication. The REST and GraphQL APIs enable decoupled frontend delivery. Once available, it will connect to the Composable Visual Page Builder so that editorial teams can assemble and publish Quintype-managed stories through Laioutr's visual layer, without exporting content to a separate system.

Quintype with Laioutr

Within Laioutr, Quintype fills the Content Management role for publishers operating within a Composable Digital Experience Platform, providing the story repository while Laioutr controls the frontend presentation. Teams can use Quintype's editorial workflow for content governance and switch to Laioutr's composable layer for layout decisions, keeping the two responsibilities clearly separated without a custom integration build.
