How it works

Salesforce Commerce Cloud exposes its data and logic through SCAPI, a set of REST and GraphQL APIs. Storefronts retrieve product, price, and cart data through these endpoints. Business Manager is used for catalog rules, promotions, and order workflows.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud with Laioutr

Salesforce Commerce Cloud is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, the Headless Frontend for Salesforce Commerce Cloud in Laioutr will consume Commerce Cloud APIs directly, replacing template-based storefronts with a fully composable layer. The Composable Headless Frontend handles layout and component rendering while Commerce Cloud remains the authoritative backend, together forming a complete Composable Digital Experience Platform.
