Squiz
What is Squiz?
Squiz is a digital experience platform with content management, search, and personalisation capabilities tailored to enterprise and government organisations. Its CMS provides structured content modelling, multi-site management, and workflow-based publishing. Squiz also includes a site search product and an orchestration layer that connects content from multiple backend systems into a unified delivery interface. Teams use it to manage large content volumes across complex permission structures and publishing schedules.
How it works
Squiz organises content in a hierarchical asset tree with configurable content types, metadata schemas, and publishing workflows. Editors work in a browser-based interface, with access rights controlled at asset and section level. The platform delivers content to the frontend via its built-in rendering engine or through APIs for headless consumption. Search and personalisation features draw on indexed content and visitor data to adapt what is presented to each request.
Squiz with Laioutr
Squiz is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will connect to the Composable Visual Page Builder and the Content Management layer of the Composable Digital Experience Platform, enabling teams to use Squiz-managed content as a structured data source for composable page composition. Organisations that already run Squiz for content governance can extend its output to modern frontend delivery without replacing the CMS or content workflows they depend on.
