Usercentrics
What is Usercentrics?
Usercentrics is a consent management platform categorised under consent and privacy. It provides a cookie consent management layer compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA, and other regional consent frameworks. The platform collects, stores, and audits user consent choices and uses that data to conditionally activate or block third-party scripts and tracking technologies on the page.
How it works
Usercentrics works through a consent management SDK embedded in the page. On load, it presents the consent dialogue, records the visitor's choices, and communicates those choices to a consent signal layer. Third-party integrations are activated or blocked based on the recorded consent state. An audit log of consent interactions is maintained for regulatory evidence requirements.
Usercentrics with Laioutr
Usercentrics is planned for the Laioutr App Store. On the Composable Digital Experience Platform, consent state needs to be respected across all data-emitting components, including analytics, advertising, and personalisation tags. Once available, the integration will allow teams to enforce Usercentrics consent decisions at the platform level, while leveraging Laioutr's WCAG Ready infrastructure to ensure the consent dialogue itself meets accessibility standards alongside privacy compliance requirements.
