What is Vendure?

Vendure is an open-source, headless e-commerce backend in the e-commerce backend category. Built on Node.js and TypeScript, it handles catalog, orders, and checkout through a GraphQL API.

How it works

Vendure runs self-hosted or in the cloud as a GraphQL server. Business logic is extended through typed plugins; the Admin UI is generated from the plugin schema. Storefronts communicate exclusively through the API layer.

Vendure with Laioutr

Vendure is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, it will serve as the commerce backend behind a Composable Headless Frontend on Laioutr. The setup suits the B2C Growth Kit and operates as part of a Composable Digital Experience Platform without a proprietary SaaS commerce dependency.
