Vev

What is Vev?

Vev is a visual design and web publishing platform that lets designers and developers create animated, interactive, and scroll-driven web experiences through a component-based interface, then export or publish them as production-ready code. It targets teams that need to produce high-fidelity editorial and campaign pages that go beyond the layout constraints of a standard CMS editor. For organisations building on a Composable Digital Experience Platform, Vev provides a design-to-publish layer for content types that require custom animation or interaction patterns.

How it works

Vev stores designs as a structured component tree that can be exported as clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or published to Vev's own hosting. The design system within Vev maps to reusable design tokens and component libraries, so brand-consistent production is achievable without re-implementing styles for each new page. Content Management integration allows content editors to update text and media within Vev-produced pages without accessing the design layer, separating content iteration from visual design work.

Vev with Laioutr

Vev is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, Vev-produced pages and components will be embeddable within the Laioutr Composable Visual Page Builder, enabling teams to use high-fidelity Vev designs as modules within broader page compositions. Content Management data flows from Laioutr into Vev content slots, keeping the single source of truth for content in the composable stack while allowing the visual design layer to remain in Vev's interface.
