Webtrends

What is Webtrends?

Webtrends is a web analytics platform that collects, processes, and reports on visitor behaviour data across digital properties, with particular depth in enterprise environments that require on-premises data processing or strict data residency controls. It provides session-level and aggregate reporting on page performance, visitor flows, and conversion events. For teams running an Agentic Frontend Management Platform, Webtrends supplies the behavioural data foundation that informs frontend iteration decisions and Performance and Core Web Vitals analysis.

How it works

Webtrends collects data through a tag-based instrumentation layer and processes it through a configurable analytics engine that can be deployed on-premises or in a private cloud. Reporting includes path analysis, funnel visualisation, and segmented audience comparisons. The data can be exported through structured APIs for consumption by downstream systems, making it usable as an input for Performance and Core Web Vitals monitoring dashboards and for feeding audience segment definitions into personalisation layers.

Webtrends with Laioutr

Webtrends is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, Webtrends behavioural data will connect to the Agentic Frontend Management Platform's analytics inputs, enabling teams to ground AI-assisted frontend decisions in historical visitor behaviour data from Webtrends rather than relying on sampled or third-party datasets. Performance and Core Web Vitals reports will incorporate Webtrends traffic segmentation, giving teams a clearer view of how page performance correlates with audience behaviour patterns.
