WireWheel
What is WireWheel?
WireWheel is a data privacy management platform that provides organisations with tools to manage consent, conduct data mapping, handle data subject rights requests, and maintain privacy programme documentation in a structured workflow environment. It is designed for privacy and legal teams that need an auditable record of how personal data is processed across the organisation's systems. For teams operating a Composable Digital Experience Platform, WireWheel provides the privacy governance layer that documents the data flows involved in every frontend personalisation or analytics integration.
How it works
WireWheel builds a data inventory by scanning connected systems and mapping data flows between them, producing a structured record of what personal data each system holds, where it came from, and what it is used for. Data subject rights requests, including access, deletion, and portability, are handled through automated workflows that notify relevant system owners and track completion. Consent records managed in WireWheel can be federated to the frontend layer through an API, ensuring that WCAG Ready-compliant interfaces reflect the current consent state stored in the privacy management system.
WireWheel with Laioutr
WireWheel is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, WireWheel's consent and data mapping records will integrate with Laioutr's Composable Digital Experience Platform, enabling privacy teams to maintain a live data inventory that accounts for every connected integration in the stack. WCAG Ready consent interfaces on the frontend will draw their state from WireWheel's consent records, keeping the displayed consent banner and the documented privacy record in sync without manual reconciliation steps.
