What is WordPress VIP?

WordPress VIP is an enterprise content management and hosting platform built on the WordPress open-source foundation, providing the editorial interface and plugin ecosystem of WordPress alongside infrastructure, security, and support designed for high-traffic and regulated environments. It serves large editorial teams, media organisations, and enterprise marketing departments that require a familiar authoring experience at a scale and reliability level that exceeds standard WordPress hosting. For teams building on a Composable Digital Experience Platform, WordPress VIP can act as a structured headless content source alongside other backend systems.

How it works

WordPress VIP exposes content through the WordPress REST API and WPGraphQL, enabling other systems in a composable stack to query posts, pages, custom post types, and taxonomy data without coupling to the WordPress rendering layer. The Gutenberg editor provides block-based authoring that maps well to structured content models, and the Composable Visual Page Builder can consume those structured content blocks as one of several content inputs. Content Management workflows, including multi-author publishing, revision history, and editorial scheduling, operate within the WordPress interface that editorial teams already know.

WordPress VIP with Laioutr

WordPress VIP is planned for the Laioutr App Store. Once available, WordPress VIP content will be queryable as a data source within Laioutr's Composable Digital Experience Platform, enabling teams to surface WordPress editorial content through Laioutr's frontend components without building a custom content bridge. The Composable Visual Page Builder will accept WordPress VIP content as one of multiple inputs, and Content Management workflows will remain in WordPress VIP while delivery is handled by the Laioutr frontend composition layer.
